What's this theme missing?

I liked it when creating it but then I took a second look and it seems very plain and dull, any ideas on what I can do?

I think the .thead is very large in height. Replacing the logo and navigation buttons will also improve the look.

Whats most disturbing for me there is the BG, because it just doesnt go with everything else.

Yeah, will be changing the background today. I'm not sure weather the theme will be released.
